The optician, James, was very helpful and friendly. They have a great selection of unique and stylish frames, including designers that you won’t find in many optical shops. Highly recommend if you’re looking for unique, high-end glasses that will stand out and bring lots of compliments.
Modern Eye Care delivered an exceptional first eyewear experience. James offered friendly, expert guidance in helping me choose the perfect Cartier glasses for my look, and later custom-fit a pair of Lindbergs for sports use and comfortable hiking on the PCT. I just moved to the neighborhood, and I knew I had been slacking on my eye care, so I made an appointment. James answered the phone, and he was excellent. Very personable and a great communicator. He quickly verified my insurance plan was in network, and he was able to get me in within 24 hours, which was fantastic! I recently switched to Modern Eye Care after going to Spectacle in NW Portland. I am so happy I did! The staff here are professionals. They care about their customers, their results, and they do it right. They got my prescription correct for contacts and glasses, and helped me optimize my budget for what I needed, not what they wanted me to buy. Spectacle went downhill 👎
