Modern day roofing was hired by the HOA. They used my electricity for three days without my permission. They expected my townhouse to provide electricity for their tools for the projects of at least 7 townhouses. Without ASKING. I complained after two days and they returned a few weeks later to replace gutters and used my electricity again without asking. The new roof looks great and they did a great job at the cleanup afterwards
The team showed up at 630, was setup by 700, started working and was done by 1230!!! AWESOME JOB GUYS!!!!!! They removed two layers of shingles prior to install the new one and I have yet to fine a nail on the ground, they cleaned all the debris up before leaving and about an hour after leaving another member showed up to go over the yard and around the house in case they missed something. Not real happy. They gave us a bid to fix some fascia and some siding. Came, didn’t have the correct stuff, never came back then asked for payment. And lots of other similar things. Finally came back and finished the job and tried to get me to hire them for something else. Not likely.
Modern Day Roofing was hired by the HOA. No Notice was given of preparation instructions until 2pm on the day of arrival. And they were going to leave a saltellite dish hanging but luckily I came home from work early. They had then cut the wires and were going to leave exposed wires. If I hadn’t spoken up and asked them to not leave exposed wires or the satellite dish I would have been left with no advanced knowledge of the situation.
