I brought in 20 shirts that needed to be dry cleaned. Nothing hard, very simple and I was not pressed for time on when they needed to be completed. An older gentleman was there when I walked in and Instantly had an attitude, threw a fit about the amount of shirts I needed done and didn’t seem to want the business. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND! I went in this morning to see about getting my military dress uniform cleaned for next week and the owner was completely rude. I walked in and greeted him by saying good morning and asking him how his morning had been; he didn’t even respond. He walked straight up to counter and asked what I wanted. Hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. The staff at Modern Cleaners & Drapery were not just rude—they were outright disrespectful and dismissive. I was treated like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. No professionalism, no courtesy, and absolutely no accountability. I walked out feeling frustrated and insulted. Save yourself the trouble and take your business somewhere that actually respects its customers. This place doesn’t deserve your time or money.
The main character is very straightforward and I love his honesty. Some may see it as rudeness, but I love that he doesn’t sugar coat anything. He’s my kind of person. If he isn’t % sure he can do a good job he’ll be sure to tell you! No guessing if something is going to come back poorly cleaned. They do an amazing job.
