They like to hire dog haters or people who are weird with dogs. What's up with that? It's a very dog-heavy community. Adam is great. But the new woman assistant manager is weird. Have had some strange encounters with her regarding my dog, who is well known and liked by previous office people. Sucks they can't keep staff. There have been a continuous rotation of people. Hopefully she leaves soon, too.
Lived here for 3 years and it's ok. Good location and amenities. 2 stars because the new property management, Avenue 5, is very cold and corporate. Not a single member of staff has made me feel like they're happy I live here, which was a stark change from Mill Creek who always made me feel welcome with a "Hello!" or "How are you?" ALERT! Red flag if trying to rent here. They use a "bait and switch" tactic. By placing misleading Specials, Prices and Availability. They had a discounted "Special" July 15 -August 15 priced apartments with additional perks on the Akoya, Zillow and Zumper that link you back to Akloya site for the entire week. We got new management during the middle of my time living here and it made the place so much better. Adam and Mia in the front office are incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. I’ll miss seeing them regularly. Wyatt who does the maintenance also does a fantastic job, he’s an unsung hero. I lived here for just under 2 years and am only leaving because I am being moved by my job. Switching to new management massively improved this building!
