Helen Shelton opened Mockingbird Bridal Boutique in 1954 in Oak Cliff, moving to our current location in 1968. Having the first true Bridal Boutique of its kind in the Dallas- Fort Worth area. Helen has had the opportunity of seeing true style trends through the years and the opportunity to grow and expand with an exuberant array of designers. Horrible experience. I WOULD GIVE THEM A 0 IF I COULD. I bought my dress from Mockingbird Bridal 30 years ago and based on their reputation and my experience in 1988 thought it would be the perfect place for my daughter to find her dress. Well, please stay away from this bridal store. It is not the Mockingbird Bridal of yesteryear. The fitting went fine and the sales person was very nice. However, after that it was all downhill. We were told the dress would be in 4-6 months. It was not! it was a month late and if it wasn't f... read more
