Multi-Cultured Hair Experience I'm not sure about the previous post (the negative one). The Joan doesn't need to experiment on Caucasian hair. Or any other hair. The only way The Joan could experiment on your hair is if you were one of her first clients (20-30 years ago). Sorry, I just have to beg to differ. The Joan has decades of experience with all cultures of hair.
PRETENTIOUS! NO MO!! Ms. Joan: When someone tells you NINE TIMES they don't want their hair colored, you do them no favor INSISTING to the point of their discomfort coloring their hair ...and then, CARTOON PINK -even if it was FREE, it was more a chance for you to experiment on virgin, never-been-dyed, Caucasian hair than a thank you for donating hair to Locks for Love. Chemical burns sore scalp I made an appointment to get the photo specific relaxer and I had spoken with someone on the phone and they highly recommended it. However, when I got to my appointment (on time) I had to wait an hour before I was even seen. I was greeted very warmly by the stylist who would be working on my hair. When it was finally my turn I told the stylist that I wanted the photospecific relaxer she told me that they were out and that if I wanted I could go to the mall and pick it up from a store that sold it. Please DO NOT go to the Indian lady Jalpa!!!! She DO NOT know what she is doing then she wants to tell you when to come get your fixed!!!! She will also put the relaxer in that she wants to (after specifically telling her which brand to put on your hair), then as far as cutting.........she does not know how to cut!!!!!! She will whack your hair out!!!!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! 😨😨😨😨😨😨
Awesome salon. Ms. Joan welcomed me as a late walk-in! My stylist, LaToya was terrific! The atmosphere is regal, warm, friendly and inviting. I am telling all of my friends and family about Mo Hair!
I love Ms. Joan!!! She always makes herself readily available for me. Being in the military, I'm not always able to go during her regular business hours, but Ms. Joan always accommodates me. There has been times when she has come in & opened the shop just for me!!! Every time I go to MoHair the atmosphere is so welcoming!!! MoHair is a multicultural Paul Mitchell salon catering to all. Final rating after trying this place twice! – This place is terrible especially when the owner is not there. Firstly, there's a lot of confusion within the salon. The first time I went to get my hair done there, I was quoted a price for my style on the phone and when I got to the salon they gave me another price. i am so whiping my hair – i hap the excellent experience at mo hair. my stylist cory did my hair so good. i jus have to whip it. he provided me with great service and hot tea. i cant wait for more so im going to jus get to the point. I LOVE IT THE BEST AND CORY IS THE NAME
