I saw a doctor and NP here, but neither one of them could figure out what was causing my digestive issues. I'm now seeing a gastroenterologist at the Mayo Clinic. Additionally, the receptionists are often very rude when I call.
Dr. Koenig was great!! The office staff and lab people were awesome as well! I look forward to all of them helping me with my next steps. No complaints!!!!
Bad protocols for having a patient wait for a procedure
1 star is too much!. They charged me nearly 700 dollars for a consultation over the phone!!!!. The coding department said thats completely normal for the conditions i have been experiencing. Absolutely DISGUSTING!. Evil dosent even describe the degree of theft i have experienced. This consultation was something they require before a colonoscopy/indoscopy and is nothing i wanted. This 15 or 20 miniute virtual consultation over the phone is going to leave me to far back financially. Everybody be aware.
They get two stars because I really like my (old) gastroenterologist, Dr. Solem. If it wasn't for him, they would get one star, only because you can't give zero. All the issues I've had with MNGI stem from there Administration departments. I've had issues with them mailing paperwork in a timely manner and to the right place, insurance change issues, and the latest, getting my account sent to a collection agency when I had been making REGULAR monthly payments after getting a final payment notice earlier this year.
