Bad experience. Had 2 cars installed with alarms. One of them had problems with the electrical system running down over the past 2 years. even when the alarm was disconnected from the battery, it still ran down the battery, because the alarm is also connected to other electrical systems in the car. I finally decided to have my mechanic remove the alarm, because I had to replace 3 batteries over these 2 years. No problem. I chalked it up to bad alarm.
