hands down the WORST. devalued our home to LESS than what we paid originally and lower than our last refinance. Said our kitchen and addition were illegal and when we immediately responded with permits, structural engineer receipts, electric inspections, city inspection reports, she refused to budge. I'm currently dealing with this company for my VA loan. This has been by far the worst process I have ever dealt with. She clearly has no clue what she is doing. The appraisal came back lower than it should have way later than it should have with nonsense MPRs such as stains on the carpet and the garage doors pain was chipping. She used comps that were nothing line the house. I was supposed to close on 4/29/2021 and it is not 5/03/2021 with no end in sight. Gave an unbelievably low valuation for my property. Completely tanked the deal. Refused to listen to reason or revisit the comparables. Applied $25/square foot for additional square footage in the subject property. Used a duplex as a comp for a triplex, and didn't give any extra value for the extra unit. Not sure if they are just lazy, incompetent, or really just don't care about their work product. This isn't sour grapes, this was totally outrageous.
