Renting from them isn't the worst and they do fix major things--- but consider that they've been raising their rents, and you will be paying way more than current residents. The constant rent increases are also creating more turnover. And rent money rarely improves the buildings. I've lived here for 3 years and they've done the bare minimum to update anything.
