She placed a mandibular implant 10+ years ago which has now failed according to my general dentist. Dr Karbakhsch will only see me for a consult if i agree to a costly $500 -ct scan and other diagnostic tests, initial apt to be $800 plus ct scan, rip off! That doesnt include any treatment. I have current full mouth xrays and panoramic films but she is money hungry,Its apparent.How can she recommend any treatment,scans or xrays w/o an i initial exam.
I was terrified of having dental procedures. When I found myself in dire need of a dentist my daughter, who had dental work done by Dr Karbakhsch, gave me a glowing report about Dr & her Tacoma office staff. My daughter was totally correct!!! Everyone was attentive to my needs. They took time to explain what needed to be done & why, gave me options for treatment and printed out a cost sheet. Everyone was thorough, professional & kind. Front to back office staff - all get an A+ from me!
Dr Karbakhsch did not chart my mouth (measure the depth of gums) or take X-rays of any kind. She came up with a treatment plan that did not address my perio issues. She also submitted to my medical insurance (not dental, medical) with a fabricated story to try to cover extensive cosmetic work she wanted to do. Upon leaving, I asked the front office about cleanings The woman didnt understand why I would want a cleaning there. I will never go back there ever. I felt scammed.
