Mizu was absolutely outstanding. My girlfriend and I went and split the chef's choice (omakase) and the choices were unique, fresh and delicious. To top it off, the entire staff, especially our waitress Linda, gave top of the line service. A must visit in Lohi.
I don't normally leave reviews, but when something doesn't live up to expectations and may be potentially overrated (probably because it's new, in the Highlands/LoHi, and Eater gives it incredibly high ratings), I feel obligated to share an honest opinion. My wife and I love sushi and have eaten at all the top spots in Denver, so our expectations were high based upon all the 4-5 star reviews. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was energetic. Food was adventurous and tasty. Definitely try the wagyu and the shoku shrimp.
