I was seen By Dr. Michael On 3/17/15 after being admitted to Holy Spirit Hospital on 3/13/15. NO DOCTORS could figure put what the problem was. So for almost a week (Discharge date 3/19/15) doctors were clueless and running test and try to figure out what was my problem. Dr. Michael did my procedure EDG where I had to have a scope put down my throat to see what was going on in my Gi tract. A concientous and thorough doctor. I have no issue reccomending Dr. Mize fully.
After almost 12 hours of prep (drinking solutions and water and emptying intestines) I received a call from West Shore Endoscopy Center stating my procedure for the day was cancelled due to weather. Yet the day before they confirmed the appointment with me. If their staff or physicians know the drill and agony of prep, why not call and cancel the appointment before I start the prep procedure / regimen? Will my insurance cover a second prep?
