I have been to Mixon Fruit Farm in the past and was impressed by it's commitment to legacy and the fact that they operate cooperatively with a wildlife sanctuary. I am horrified to learn that Mixon's is planning to host a captive animal circus (Loomis Bros.) that includes the use of elephants. It is common knowledge that elephants in circuses are abused. Please cancel the circus shows, animals have no place in the circus they belong with their families in the wild. We are fortunate to go home to our families every day, these animals will never have that choice! They are abused and forced to perform tricks day after day to entertain humans. These beautiful animals are not actors or circus clowns but beings who feel pain and are not performing by choice. Please be part of the solution not the problem. Cancel your shows today!

The people that like posting bad reviews for unrelated things show no class. Mixon's is small business and helps the local community and businesses by providing jobs and having business fairs. We do not support cruelty to animals. But by having a circus come to our festival you want to link us to the negative. Find another avenue to vent other than Facebook. Thank you.
I hear that Looms Brothers Circus is coming to your farm. First let me say I have been to your farm it's a nice place but would I go again NO. WHY because you are having Loomis Brothers Circus being a single mother I would never take my son to the circus. They beat these animals into submission so they will perform tricks. They are CONVICTED ANIMAL ABUSERS why would you have this at your farm DO YOU CONDONE ANIMAL ABUSE. My son wants to know why your allowing this??? WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO TELL HIM
