Poor communication! Placed a refill order June 14. June 17, I get a vague message that the order has been delayed. June 22, no updates, so I contact Mixlab. June 24, they tell me "the medication you ordered is currently on backorder with no estimated restock date." Now I have to scramble with my vet to find another pharmacy who can fill the order before my dog runs out of meds! Why didn't they tell me earlier so I had more time to find an alternative? Why did I have to reach out to them to get answers?
They never follow through with their prescriptions or notify the customer that they need to pay before anything is created. Our vet sent a script for them to compound and we chose this option rather than waiting for another place to ship the medication to us since mixlab is local. Vet sent over the script 1PM and it’s been over 24 hrs without being notified we had to PAY before the medicine is made. Decent experience overall, but the staff was not personable at all. They made my wife and me feel like we were imposing on them just by asking questions. What really frustrated us was that during the same visit we were told twice that if our cat didn’t like the food due to the taste, we would receive 30% off the second order. Our cat unfortunately hates the taste, and when we came back we were told there was nothing they could do and we had to pay full price. That felt very misleading and disappointing. This place is horrible very expensive. They don’t care about your pets. Our medication for the last two months have been delayed for seven days or more but yet they expect their money right away. They take advantage of people because they love their pets.
I have had great service at my local MixLab — the people who work there are professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The people I talk to on the phone when I order are also great; in addition, they offer a discount on the purchase of more than one item which is very helpful. Thanks to all of them. I highly recommend MixLab.
