Absolutely impeccable quality, value and service. We constantly receive compliments on our cabinets and even after several years of daily use by a very busy family they look brand new! Roger Beesley has done several projects for our home spanning over two decades. He is a true artisan in his trim carpentry and his attention to detail is simply outstanding. Roger is easy to talk with and strives to give his client precisely what they want. My wife and I are always proud to show off the superb work of Mitre throughout our home!
We worked with Roger earlier this year on a set of built-in bookshelves on either side of our fireplace, and we absolutely love the results! The detailing and beading added to the columns blends perfectly with the fireplace mantle details and it looks as if it were always meant to be there. We love the functionality of the storage in the cabinets as well, which still gives us access to all of the electrical outlets we need. Roger's work is of the highest quality and craftsmanship. He has designed and built two fireplace mantels and a large entertainment built-in for us. His designs were custom to fit our space and our preferences, and reasonably priced. The fit and finish of each build is superb, and built with high-grade materials that are standing up to daily use and will last a lifetime. I highly recommend Roger and Mitre Contracting – his company is my first choice in NoVA for cabinetry, woodwork and carpentry.
Roger has done two different jobs for me and he is truly a craftsman! He built from scratch, my built-in bookcase/desk with matching built-in printer with bookshelves and installed moulding on my coffered ceiling. He did all the details on the wood for my bookshelves by hand in his shop. He also does coping, which many contractors do not do, so my moulding will not shrink and expand with the seasons.
