I always have great experiences at Mitre10 thanks to their excellent and knowledgeable staff, but today went beyond great. Firstly the gentleman at the paint counter gave me excellent and detailed advice about the type of finish I want for my woodwork project as well as great tips and tricks for application. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff and nearly always right there when you need them. Much more friendly vibe than the competition. Selection isn't as big as other places but they do a great job of curating their inventory so they always have what I want at a price that is very good for the quality, from mechanics tools to kitchen water filters, to ppe gear. I felt like a contestant on hunger games every time I went to their competitor--now I know to always to go here first.
