My experience with Dr. Darren Miter has been one of the BEST experiences in my entire life. Everything from my pre-op visits to my actual surgery was outstanding. Dr. Miter is very thorough as he helped me make a very crucial decision to have my gallbladder removed. We scheduled a colonoscopy the week before to be sure there were no other issues that needed to be addressed before the surgery. 20 years ago in upstate New York as a young surgeon Dr Miter saved my life. He was very kind, caring and compassionate for such a young Dr. I just came from an appointment with my gastro Dr here in Fl and he said that the surgical site still looks perfect. I thank God for Dr. Miter and his skills.
Dr. Miter was great at explaining the procedure I needed and answering all my questions. I was able to get my gallbladder removed with a laparoscopy surgery, and I was in and out of the outpatient procedure within 4 hours. After surgery, it took me a little time for my body to adapt to not having a gallbladder and I was experiencing discomfort after eating certain foods. I went back to see Dr. Miter. Worst possible experience ever, if I could put 0 stars I would in a heartbeat. As someone has already said, if you need surgery RUN to another doctor. THIS IS NOT the place to go to. I have had a cyst “removal” back in march, then the same cyst “removed” in October (funny thing is there was suture material left in my wound from the 1st surgery, just showing how reckless he is) , and now having to meet with a specialist because my CYST is still here!
