I own a GMC 2500 HD truck. I was having an issue with a clanking noise especially while turning. I took my truck to 4 different places to find the issue. I even took the truck to the local Chevy/GM dealer in town and they told me I needed new leaf springs at a cost of $1500. Really, new leaf springs? I decided to have Mitchem Tire in Ozark look at the truck and Bill the manager had his technician Robert look at it. Very rude and ignorant!!! Hung up when I pointed out on of their mistakes, I guess since they already had my money they didn't care. Wouldn't acknowledge they were wrong.
LIARS!!! well I got burned by them twice. the first time I took my pick up to get a tire patched, they didn't take the center hub off before putting it on the machine and broke the center cap then put it in the back of my truck. when I noticed it i called spoke to the manager and was told that it was broke when I brought it in. basically called me a liar. the second time. the review below is biased... I have been done wrong one to many times. I sent my daughter in to get and alignment to her car and when she did to my amazement they tried selling her things she didn't need things like sensors the car doesn't even have. yes false sell... and regarding the reason she went there for the alignment that never got done correctly his response was blame it on tires. they are brand new and from the same tire guy I have been going to or years. so I took it back to my tire guy and he said there is nothi... read more
I took my car that I'd just bought to Mitchem for my vehicle inspection. They passed my car for inspection except for one tire on the front so I had them replace both tires. Two weeks later I notice they had put the tires on backwards though it clearly states right on the tire the direction it should go. I took the car back they put the tires on right and insisted this would not affect the wear or tread at all. LOL What a lie! We've known the owners as long as we've all lived in Springfield...gone to school with theirs kids who now help run it, and the family is super nice as well as great at what they do...great staff too!
