The food was delicious and the carrot cake was out of this world
Expected the best seafood. Reviews are shrimp cocktail rubbery to taste? Bread amazing. Sweet tea amazing. Had the battered fried trio. Shrimp off tasting scallops amazing. Fish OK. 10 dollar carrot cake tasted freezerish and somewhat dried out. Friends didn't want to complain as they own a local restaurant. But just keeping my experience real. Server was amazing.
Absolutely great seafood. And, this from somebody who was raised next to the water. Our waiter made a few excellent suggestions, and they all lived up to his descriptions! I think it's sage to say that we'll be back, even though we live 100 miles away.
Excellent service, excellent food. We didn't wait to be seated and didn't wait long for the food. The prices are not ridiculous. Probably the best restaurant experience I've had.
