Extremely disappointed. Swordfish had a strong odor and was dry. Portion way too small. Chicken Parmesan was terrible. Our party of four sampled these two meals around the table, we all agreed, not good. Cooks are more concerned with the look of plates than they are the taste. Place is too loud, chairs bumping into other customers, customers chairs bumping into ours. Manager seems indifferent to our concerns. The food is great here, the fish is marvelous, but it is pricey. Still, I will do a special occasion here, and enjoy it.
Great Food – mitchell's fish market is one of my favorite restaurants in detroit. The fish is great and the service is great. The atmosphere is great. The cioppino is great
Interesting evening. The fish is very fresh, but the portions are small. The service is excellent. The desserts are fabulous - their specialty the shark fin pie is huge, and plenty for 4 people to share if all anyone wants is a normal size poriton. I would return.
