I’ve been to Mitchell’s for special events a few times, this was my 46 Bday dinner my daughter and son took me to. The swordfish was good, and the salad ( spinach & goat cheese was superb). We had a nice table HOWEVER our waitress WAS NOT friendly or attentive at all “at first” ... we waited and waited SEVERAL times just for simple things, and it wasn’t crowded or that busy so we were like heeeeyyyyy. Food and atmosphere was great. Demietrius was an excellent waiter.
My Sea Bass was good and my girlfriends spicy shrimp was good. The service was not exactly friendly starting with the hostess that sat us, then including the floor manager who coldly let us know that moving to bigger table was no way going to happen. She later came back to offer the table but was too late at that point. The waiter spent as much time trying to sell me the same Landry Club membership than he did taking drink orders. Not the best experience I’ve ever had.

One of my favorite restaurants. Good Service and Great food. The outdoor seating puts the perfect touch on any summer night.
We love the lobster the smashed potatoes and the asparagus. We were a little disappointed about my favorite carrot cake went from 7 layers to 6 layers and it cost $3.00 more. The cost was $9.00 now it’s $12.00 for a slice of cake. The cake is good but had I know the price went up with less cake I wouldn’t have bought it.
