I’m sad that the clam chowder has a lot of potatoes but very few clams. It used to be the best but they changed the recipe.

Service was fantastic, excellent, superb! Robert was great and the food was wonderful, especially the lobster bisque.
Service was terrible. Not sure if our server was new. She didn’t talk when she approached our table. Service was slow. My daughter had the two lobster tails and she didn’t bring any butter. When she came back five minutes later. I told her and she then brought us some cold butter. I then complained and she said she didn’t know what to do and wasn’t sure if the kitchen would microwave it. I told her maybe she should ask. And she never returned. The food was great. Service coming out of the kitchen was on the slow side. The waitstaff was helpful and attentive.
Great food, customer service..........hmmmm. Improvement needed
The food is good, but they just are not organized and managed well. This past year, the wait to have food brought out from the kitchen has gotten so long. We go to nice restaurants, and we like the menu at Mitchell’s, but the food takes forever. It’s really unreasonably slow compared to other nice restaurants. I’d say it takes about twice as long as similar restaurants, and empty plates do not get quickly cleared from tables. It unfortunate because it’s one of our favorite menus.
