I would not recommend this dealership. They did not inform us correctly about the ongoing promotion (test drives). We bought a used Jetta but were also interested in a new Tiguan..no follow-up from their side. After checking today with manager Skip..his response was.. this is not what you are calling about..what is it? Bad customer service.
Questionable service practices I have purchased several vehicles from Mitchell's, including my 2012 Touareg TDI. I tow regularly with the vehicle, and after a recent service (which included a firmware flash) my trailer lights stopped working. After checking all the fuses, I went to the dealership to see if they could determine the issue. I was already late for a trip to Maine, and they reluctantly looked at the vehicle after making my sit around for an hour. patient and helpful Big thanks to Rob for spending almost an entire day helping us compare Jettas. My husband and I were planning to lease a new sedan, and after driving 5? 6? maybe more cars, and getting the monthly figures on all of them, it turned out better for us to finance a 2011 Jetta, and own it at the end. Only thing I'd say is the showroom feels really small and crowded...like they parked a bunch of cars in someone's living room.
Check your warranty and bill! Extremely difficult service experience working with Seth. Overpriced and suspicious ethics. They failed to recognize that my vehicle was under warranty and tried to charge me for a an expensive repair. It took a second opinion from another dealership to recognize their mistake. Highly recommend you seek service and repairs at another dealership, I have had nothing but headaches dealing with Mitchell VW service department and I ended up having my car towed to another dealership.
20 Percent Over Retail Price I had bought parts for may VWs for years at Mitchell. Last summer I was coming home from Boston and stopped at Langan VW in Vernon for an oil filter and some wiper inserts because it was right off the highway. I was surprised how inexpensive it was, so I found some old receipts from Mitchell to compare. Then I looked at some online sources for OEM VW parts (like magauto.com or vwpartsdepartment.com) and found that EVERYTHING I'd bought at Mitchell was marked up 20% OVER the VW retail price. Stay Clear I tried to buy a car and they promised me the world to get me in the door. Saw the car i wanted drove it, ordered it and then all of the sudden the price changed by 3k!!! when i asked if this was to alter my payments they said no! Stayt claer read my other reviews for a real VW Dealer!
Never a one day job My husband and I have owned 5 VW cars between the two of us. We are no longer VW owners and Mitchell VW is why.
