Less than one star.... – If there was a rating lower than this, I would use it. Purchased a discount certificate cut for this salon and added a partial highlight. After destroying both the color and the cut, they charged me an additional $140.00. One of those $15 stop in with the kids places would have done a better job. The "painted" highlights were blobed on with no care and the cut is so poorly done that I've made arrangments with another salon to try and correct both. DO NOT GO HERE. LOVE MY HAIR!!! – There is a stylist there named Katie. She does WONDERS with my hair everytime I go.... & i'm constantly changing , color, and style. she has NEVER let me down. I can tell by looking at her when i tell her what i'm looking for, I can see her looking @ my hair.... and face. I can see her visualizing the look on me. I have gone to all the salons on Newbury ST, Comm Ave etc. I have NEVER had a stylist that is truly an artist at what she does!!!!! Thank You Katie

Fricken Katie. Wow. I went in for a consultation with Katie the other day to get my hair re-colored and I'm so happy I did. When I came back she literally had ideas written down for my hair on a napkin that she had been working on for a few days. What fantastic service, really. Obviously, the color came out FANTASTIC. Jarrod at Mitchell John Salon – I have always been scared to go to any other salon besides the one girl I have been going to for years. I decided to try out Mitchell John salon this past summer and I loved it. Jarrod was my hairdresser. I just went back to him last week. I have been getting compliments ever since! I definatly recommend going there and asking for Jarrod!

Best Hair cut of my life!! – Mitchell John Salon is by far the best hair salon in Boston. The entire atmosphere is inviting and trendy. The very best thing about this salon is my stylist Jarrod. He is the only person I trust with my hair. He is very creative and knows exactly what will look good on me. Make an Appointment with Jarrod: Best Hairstylist. – Mitchell John Salon in Boston is great! Jarrod gave me a very cool, current cut. I have curly hair, and always stuffed it into a ponytail, but Jarrod was able to give it awesome shape, and suggest good styling products. I always wear my hair down, now, and I get a lot of compliments on the style.

Great atmosphere – I definitely recommend Mitchell John's salon. It's worth checking out. I was referred by a friend to get a hair cut there and so I did just that. Katy was my stylist and was the cutest thing! What's great is if anyone with long hair who wants to be a model gets a free hair cut every Tuesdays.
