What an incredible experience! Our pilot, Dave Jr., is an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to Southeast, Alaska. Every inlet, every island and every rock in the water - he knew the name and history of it. The plane was extremely comfortable and well appointed and the headphone/intercom system was top notch. It was a fantastic flight to Prince Rupert BC and we were treated like royalty. Customs was super easy and fast! HIGHLY recommend!
Misty Fjords Air is who we call when our marine pilots need to get to one of the cruise ships, super yachts, or cargo vessels transiting SE Alaska. We fly MFA because of their professional, friendly pilots and a fleet of planes which are meticulously maintained. Whether it is business or pleasure, I highly recommend MFA.
Took a flight out to see the Misty Fjords with my family from out of town. We chose Misty Fjords Air based on their reputation in town. Words cannot describe the Misty's. It's a must do during a visit to Ketchikan. The ride was smooth and the plane was beautiful with huge windows and there's not a bad seat for taking in the majestic views. I look forward to my next trip with them! Thanks guys!
Wonderful flight over the Misty Fjords. The pilot gave us great information regarding the national monument that is Misty Fjords. We spotted two bears during our flight back from the fjord and the pilot circled around for all members in our party to get a view of them. The landing on the fjord and our time on the floating dock for pictures was great. It's a must do while in Alaska.
A breath taking experience,to see an untouched area no words nor pictures does it justice. And the pilots are great. Best seat in the house is being the cowboy's pilot
Great planes and an awesome tour. Pilot was great and had a lot of fun.
