I called this morning and the guy who answered was pleasant. He seemed professional and polite. Even told me he had availability for the simple service I needed. The moment I gave him my mileage his attitude changed and he told me they’re booked solid and I need to go elsewhere. Told me my mileage is too high which is ridiculous. Disappointed and will never call mister transmission again. Apparently they’re not comfortable working on a transmission in a car with 203k km. I recently had my vehicle in for service with Whitby transmission. I had originally spoke with Denise who knew exactly what I wanted to have looked at. I booked it in for the initial look over, and they said that the they would be able to rebuild, not replace the unit. Honesty, who knew that existed anymore? It started off great, super friendly and kind BUT…. I Specifically asked for all unused parts back to take for myself. After loading my old transmission into my truck I noticed I was Missing transmission pan bolts and I had to ask for them (their $18/each) Was trying to put some back in while half in the bay half outside just loaded up the old transmission.
