Did "corrective straightening surgery" one leg while I was a growing child and now that Im an adult I have nothing but problems with that leg and it being twisted to the right . So his corrective surgery actually made my leg crooked. Dr. Missiuna is incredibly friendly and patient. He’s very easy to talk to about any subject or topic. He’s also very knowledgeable about back and knee injuries, which I’m suffering from. The receptionist is also very friendly.
My experience with him was nothing short of exhausting, my daughter received many surgeries by him to treat a complex case of scoliosis. He has a terrible bedside manner and rushes though each appointment. I will never forget him ripping off my daughters first surgery bandages being sneaky about it and immediately losing my daughters trust just because she was apprehensive about having them taken off. Her last surgery was much more of a success with another doctor from Sick Kids after Missiuna told us he cannot do anymore. S... read more

Unfortunately it was a very bad experience that will have lifelong repercussions. Multiple surgeries and the issue was never fixed properly. Years later it still causes pain. It will never not hurt again. It will cause impact quality of life and cause suffering for life. It was not even a super complicated fracture.
