I know this facility has mixed reviews, but I wanted to share our experience so far. My father was recently transferred here after a very serious hospitalization involving dehydration, malnutrition, lithium toxicity, sepsis, and aspiration pneumonia. During our first visit we were able to meet with his doctor, Dr. Coughlin, and the staff working with him. My son is 15 years old and he has been at this hospital for a month now. The staff have been awesome to my son. I really appreciate them for helping my son with his issues. This is by far the best facility he has Ever been too. BIG THANKS to the Social Worker EMONI. You are truly an inspiration to these kids. I wish the world had more people like you that actually care. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. It doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I was there for 5 days in August of 2023. I was court ordered there by UMC following a suicide attempt. The best way to describe it is: Hope goes to die there. The facility itself is disgusting, outdated, bleak, and not fit for humans. I felt so disgusting every day I was there.
