I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of communication from this office. I’ve called over ten times with no answer and no return calls. I’m a resident trying to follow the proper steps for my housing process, but I’m constantly being ignored or left in the dark. This is people’s housing and stability on the line not just paperwork. If the office is overwhelmed or understaffed, that should be communicated. At the very least, phones should be answered or messages returned within a reasonable time. I have been homeless a year and 4 months now. I got some help with opening Doors to be put on section 8 housing. I got a phone call from a lady by the name of Ms Liz she want over with me on the phone what I need to do to get things started with section 8. So i did my part of paper work which was done on my cell phone. But after I find me a apartment now I can't get Ms Liz to come inspect my apartment so I can move in. Or even answer the phone or return my phone calls.
I give these people a 5 star because they are all working hard to help house those and they really don't get enough pay.
Spoke with a lady about 2 days ago she was very professional when she was very helpful I emailed her and she called me first thing the next morning and she went over everything she made sure I understood everything she was very detailed I didn't get her name but I want to say thank you very much keep up the 😊 👍 work
