When I took my husband to Mission Resiliency, we started by speaking with Ericka, the VA Liaison, who was absolutely amazing at getting us an inpatient assessment quickly. We met with a woman who completed his intake assessment, and I was so impressed by how engaged and thorough she was — she really took her time and listened. Then the director came in and immediately asked if my husband had eaten yet. To my surprise, he brought in a five-star meal (I was expecting a cold sandwich) after hours! I spent a month in Mission 100 recently. I would’ve given this place 5 stars, but while there apparently a new company had taken over or the current company was making changes. It degraded the experience, there was a lack of continuity between nurses who had been there for a long time (THEY WERE AWESOME) and those that were being brought in. I received treatment from LR for months due to stress. They have been a wonderful service and would definitely recommend. Ms. Arcy was a great person while I was there and helped with transportation. Ms. Lavie was an absolute darling and really gave the units a welcoming atmosphere. Ms. Amy and Tracy was amazing and showed great care and service. I am sure at its peak, this facility was great. As someone who has a family member currently here - I have to say, it’s not what it used to be. I have to advocate for appropriate follow up and care, deal with over medication, limited visitation (1 hour a week ONLY), medication errors, variable staff professionalism/respect to patients, extremely limited phone time, and just overall prioritizing of not the right things in health and human services.
