Lived here for a year but did not renew lease after it was up. It's unfortunate that managers are to relaxed in setting any rules for the tenants. Tenants are allowed to have noisy guests over at all times of day. I also witnessed manager visiting some of the single female tenants late at night. Look elsewhere to rent like many of the other tenants whose lease is coming up.

we moved out here last year from the midwest for work. took time to do my homework before choosing where we wanted to live, distance to work, best schools in area, etc and mission west came out on top. we have huge floorspace, a private yard, a quality living environment and we pay only a small fraction of water costs. I laugh at my buddies who bought homes to save $ but are now paying $300 water bills and $400 electric. ridiculous! Still the best complex in the area for active people. Believe me we've looked and looked... just can't beat the open layout of the premises, theres plenty of room inside the gated complex for walking and keeping fit. Its quiet and it feels secure here. The apartments are big and the downstairs have private yards. Mgmt is pretty attentive. The place is always clean and we dont get pests or anything. Positives: Javier, the maintenance guy, is awesome. There's a pool and jacuzzi. The location is great. The apartments are cute. Negatives: It's expensive, rent plus water, electricity, and gas. The owner is greedy, he continues to raise the cost to live there. The manager is flaky, he easily forgets when a unit needs repair. I lived in these apartments for a year, the ac went out the last month I was there and never got fixed . We really like these apartments. They are actually condos with lots of space between buildings and a really nice big property with grass and palms. It feels more private and relaxed than most apartments I've stayed in. Having our own fenced yard is a big perk too.

So far so good... I've had a good rental experience here for the past year now and I just want to let mgmt and everyone else know that I appreciate their hard work and attention. My heartfelt thanks to the whole mission west team!! You guys do a hell of a job. I really like that you are always respectful and show genuine concern for the residents. Thats hard to find these days. Thank You!

We absolutely love this place! We tried out a couple of more expensive places when we first came to Imperial Valley, but more money doesnt always mean a better place to live. Mission West is in the best school district and the most ideal location for shopping, restaurants, etc. Big apartments, nice people, and a clean, safe place to raise our family. :)
