We were excited to find this condo right on the beach in Ocean Beach but all our visions of a peaceful serene beachfront vacation were quickly spoiled when we realized we were right in the middle of a homeless encampment. This is a terrible company. My reservation got mixed up due to a technical error and they refused to provide a refund. UPDATE: The company’s response to this review makes false claims and I have an email showing the dates for March. They refused to accept that an honest mistake was made when their reservation page refreshed and the dates got mixed up. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid renting from this company as they don’t care about the customer whatsoever and only care about taking your money.
The entire experience wasn't good . First starting with the reservation process that ,after making the reservation we received an email for additional information and stated that we have to provide all info within 24hrs otherwise the reservation will be canceled. We provided all info needed in 18hrs to be exact and we didn't hear back . When called the customer service they said oh the unit you wanted ( ocean beach San Diego ) is no longer available and they said they don't know what happened !!! how's that even possible !! ... read more
I stayed in one of Mission Sands properties with my family and everything went smoothly from the arrival to the end of our stay. I am particularly picky with the places I stay, so I can say that the property was on point, and more importantly CLEAN! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely book with them again.
They "hire" college internship for free labor and when their contract is up after 3 months they hire them for minimum wage and wonder why their turnover for employees is so high. They put these minimum wage employees "on call" so all emergency or after hours calls get routed to this employees PERSONAL phone line and only give that employee an extra $100 PER WEEK that they're on call 24/7 which I'm pretty sure is illegal.
