I took my Chiweenie in because she had eaten some grass with grass killer on it. I called the Pet Poison place on a Sunday and they gave me a code number and told me to give it to my vet. They said she would be ok to take to my vet on Monday. My dog was seen on Monday and Tuesday and my dog DIED Tuesday night. THEY DID NOT TREAT HER FOR THE POISON, THEY TREATED HER FOR DEHYDRATION. THEY DIDN’T EVEN CALL THE PET POISON PLACE. WHEN I ASKED WHY THEY DIDN’T TREAT HER FOR THE POISON THEY HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME IT WAS MY FAULT….
Do not take your pet here! The main vet is an older lady who is extremely combative. I'm there with my beloved sick dog and this crazy lady starts going off on me about how to train my dog and be assertive over my dog and basically tells me I'm a horrible owner because I gave my dog pain meds and then she starts going off about grain free food (which i don't even feed my dog).
