Even though there was a line to even check in, it went very quickly. The women at the front desk were pleasant and got me checked in quickly. The nurse who took us back to the exam room was so nice and actually talked with us on the way! The PA we saw was absolutely fantastic! She clearly knew exactly what she was doing, she truly listened to and addressed our concerns, and, like all the others, so nice and pleasant. She recognized us and spoke to us as a friend even while performing the work she needed to do.
Dr. Adam Kaufman and his team at Mission Trauma Surgery were first class from our very first conversation through my ankle surgery and follow-up care. They were professional, compassionate, attentive, and reassuring throughout the entire process. The whole experience was better than I ever anticipated. I broke my wrist when I lost my balance, putting up Old Glory on July 4. The break was bad, so surgery was indicated, and Dr. Kaufman performed the surgery. Almost 3 weeks later, I am in a brace rather than a cast, and I'm looking forward to my next visit. All the people with whom I had contact were pleasant and helpful. 9/30-Had my last visit today. Everything is good and everyone with whom I had contact were friendly and helpful.
My mom, Freida, has been through more than most people could ever imagine. ❤ Fifteen years ago, she was told she had MRSA that had spread all the way up her left amputated arm and that she would eventually need surgery to remove the arm completely. Unfortunately, Dr. Deruchie recently told us that she had MRSA again, but he was wrong.
