This place is a total SCAM. The last 3 procedures I had there were expensive nightmares. My son had his wisdom teeth extracted, two visits, and they screwed up the insurance paperwork for BOTH visits. I talked to my insurance, and it seems they were trying to get both of my insurance companies to pay full price, so they would profit 100%, (I have dual insurance.) I had an extremely overpriced crown put in, and just found out today the reason it was so expensive was that they had not even BILLED my insurance, though they told me they had. The billing lady is totally rude and nasty, she constantly scerws up everything and then gives you a hassle when you try to get it straightened out. Go to a REPUTABLE dentist, avoid this bunch like the plague.

Stay away! Awhile ago I went to this place because I needed a few crowns done. My husband told me to go to this office vs. my regular dentist because they could do them in one sitting (instead of 2).

Stay away! Awhile ago I went to this place because I needed a few crowns done. My husband told me to go to this office vs. my regular dentist because they could do them in one sitting (instead of 2). I went to the office and had the work done (at least I thought I did), but the entire time the dentist tried to sell me on all kinds of other services. I recently went to my regular dentist to have a checkup and learned that the dentist at Mission Oaks Dental Group, didn't do the work properly. He actually gave me "inlays" (instead of crowns) and billed the insurance company for "onlays" -- which apparently is more expensive. He did substandard work and I now need to have the work redone. Thankfully it was caught before I needed root canals! I went to Mission Oaks Dental Group to talk to someone about the issue and get a refund. The office manager wasn't there, but I was told that she would call me as soon as possible -- that was 2 weeks ago. I have repeatedly left messages for her. I have learned that the dentist that did the work no longer works there, although the receptionist wouldn't tell my why he left. Mission Oaks Dental Group is owned by a much larger company named Pacific Dental Services. They are located in Irvine. I called the main office and left multiple messages for the "patient services" representative. Nobody has bothered to call me back. Yesterday I filled out the forms for the better business bureau and tomorrow I plan to call my insurance company. This is a warning - find a good, reputable dentist vs. being taken in by some advertising scheme. There are no short cuts in dentistry. I wish that I had gone to my regular dentist in the first place!

MISSION OAKS DENTAL GROUP= DECEIVING SCAM !!! – I am a disappointed resident of Camarillo. I made an appointment at Mission Oaks Dental Office; because I was experiencing a very painful toothache. My first impression is that the office is very clean and organized. Unfortunately, I was seen by a rude lady dentist who suggested an overpriced treatment plan. I am disgusted that this dentist was trying to scam me out of my hard earned money. She claims that she cannot treat my tooth for a root canal but instead tries to sign me up for an $ 1000 crown ! This is outrageously over-priced ! She cannot even speak in complete sentences. My instincts tell me that they are just trying to cheat me. Recently, I went to another dentist for a second opinion and received a root canal and a crown for much less. This made me realize that MISSION OAKS DENTAL GROUP is a money-grubbing FRAUDULENT SCAM. I feel obligated to inform people of their deceiving dental practices.
