Good food, Diner atmosphere, locals and tourists.
I love the old Diner . But I would have to say that the food wasn't done to my request .Dont get me wrong the food quality is great.. The preparation is my problem. All I asked for was ham over easy eggs toast and hashbrowns. The hashbrowns were very starchy and under cooked . And my eggs were over medium on one and a broken over medium on the second. Home-made corned beef hash!
Great old diner. We were in the dining car part. Service and food were outstanding. Brilliant atmosphere.
I really love coming here when I come up to Portland. Knowing Sundays are busy I plan for a wait - but yesterday was not a pleasant experience for me. Our waitress only came to take our order and drop off the check. She never asked us how our food was or if we wanted drink refills. The hostess got us drinks and another waitress came and cleared our plates and got us refills. I understand it’s super busy but I didn’t feel like I was taken care of by her at all which is a real big disappointment. I hope next time we come by it... read more
