I rented southern exposure for 1 week ending today first the pros house was clean air turned down home in decent shape peaceful location i booked last minute they were able to get me into a house cons went by the place 4 times couldnt see it grass was so high location is to remote paid close to 2,000 for the week to much the highest season rate is 1,475 a week iam sure there are taxes and cleaning fees on this price but 500 seems like alot since we will be leaving it in the same condition we came in iam not saying they charg... read more

Southern Exposure is about a 4 minute drive from the Rockport Beach Park and pretty much anything else in town. The main lawn around the home was mowed, but the outlying areas of the 5 acres the home sets on had not been mowed in about a week. With all the rain we have had in our area in the last month or, the grass is growing much faster than normally. Stayed at coastal confessions for spring break 2015. Not boat friendly. Not toddler/crawler friendly. No fishing lights. Few changes would make the place worth a million bucks. Felt like I was staying in a place that a slum lord made live-able and put top dollar rates on it.
We had a beautiful four day getaway. The property was just perfect, very clean with breathtaking views! Fishing was great location close to everything. Can't wait to book another trip.
