Better now than it was 30 years ago, albeit more families, small children, no SUPER-LOUD boom boxes every 15 feet, people playing Frisbee, catch w/baseballs, making sand castles and other 'beach' games...the beach was so clean! Bars and food available; No garbage anywhere... everyone was having a good time and the weather was spectacular!

My first time and it will not be my last. This beach is so nice. The water and waves on low tide are great.
They open at 9, the blue rug, easy to walk on wasn't all rolled, only 2 pieces, the ladies room never opened until 9:40, had to use handicap porta potty, that had no locking mechanism!!! And cigarette butts all over the parking lot stairs. Meanwhile 3 "lifeguards " road an ATV around the busy crowded beach, not worth the expensive parking, sorry. The beach day was beautiful.
One of the best beaches similar to the one in the Dominican Republic with waves.
