If you want legit sushi with a laid back atmosphere, definitely hit this place up!!!
Excited about this place at first! Went in and were told 20-25min wait. Ok not bad, then told it is BYOB and there is a liquor store 3 doors down. Also no problem, went and bought a bottle of wine. The one star was given for the fact we waited more like 45mins then were sat at a table and noticed everyone sat after us at the sushi bar got their food before us. Had the Poke bowls for lunch as we found the rolls overpriced. The last time I tasted anything nearly as good was at the Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo. It melts in your mouth—Absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself could use a little spiffing up and the retail section takes up way too much space. If you want to spend $40 and not $100 go for lunch and get the poke bowls.
Excellent sushi served by super nice people. Great food, super atmosphere. Tiny place - get there early to get a seat!
We really enjoyed the food and the relaxed atmosphere. Rock music while you enjoy great food. We ordered the TNT Roll, ediname, shashimi with tuna, yellowtail, and salmon. All were excellent. We went to the location near Kapalua.
Amazing fresh Fish! The presentation was spot on and the flavours were pure and not bastardized. I highly recommend eating here when on Maui! Awesome Chef and the Best Owner!!! Great work guys!
