very knowledgeable but patronizing. Too much money. Ivig too much and too easily recommended.
Dr. Kovacevic is a one person operation which restricts how many patients he can treat. He does however truly care about his patients. I would recommend him if you have PANS. He is there and stays with you. He establishes a relationship with the Patient. He is quirky and has a strange sense of humor. However a non quirky doctor would probably not treat a "new" disease.
This guy is a little crazy. He needs to hire more staff - one person cannot treat hundreds of PANDAS kids alone! Can be rude at times but where else are you going to go if your kid has PANDAS? Don't piss him off and you will be OK.
Been taking my 2 kids to him for 18 years. He's outstanding with kids. Can be short with parents but knows his stuff.
Dr. Kovacevic is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered in medicine. I was in a phone conversation with him during which he was unprofessional, rude, and hung up on me.
