Mirisata has been on our bucket list for years, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The bold Sri Lankan flavors and incredibly welcoming staff made for an amazing first visit. Since we were new to the menu, the staff was more than happy to guide us through it and share their recommendations—and seriously, don’t skip the coffee! Eating family-style was perfect because it meant we got to try a bit of everything, and every single dish hit the mark.
I have traveled to many countries around the world eating cuisine from each. I have to share that these are the best flavor combinations I've ever eaten. Thank you to Marisata for the excellent meal.
All vegan Sri Lankan food? This is, by far, my favorite place to eat in Portland. I grew up in a Sri Lankan household and none of the food my parents made was half as flavorful as this and not to mention it’s all vegan. Wish I could give more than 5 stars, this was such an incredible spot! The outdoor seating is dreamy, feels like you're in a lovely garden. The food is so incredibly flavorful, and the drinks are not to be missed! I always love to see the same care and attention given to non-alcoholic drinks as cocktails, and they delivered that here. The service was outstanding also, and I love the worker-owned model. You can't miss coming here!
