A loved one of mine recently attended the Mirasol inpatient programs and continued into their part time outpatient program. She is currently involved in after therapy counseling. Well it seemed to have worked very well. I have not seen her this healthy, both mentally and physically, in years. We were highly concerned for her life. I'm posting this almost two years since my admittance in April 2019. I was admitted into the adult residential program for anorexia purging subtype and would ultimately stay for a little over 3 months. I cannot say enough POSITIVE things about this program. The multi faceted and holistic approach is exactly what my heart and soul needed to really allow healing to begin. The modalities offered create so many opportunities for self discovery and growth. Mirasol changed my families life, its been exactly one year free of eating disorder behavior as of 2/6/21. I have salvaged my relationship with my entire family which was severely fractured by my disorder and all the lies. Mirasol helped me understand and make sense of my life by reconciling with my past. It wasn't easy. It was hard work and it was worth it! Thank you and bless you for your patience, empathy and love. I am forever grateful....
Awful. Zero concern for a loved one's treatment.
Some staff was very rude, but over all, most of the clients are now lifelong best friends. I was twelve years old when I went in to this treatment center (which is the absolute youngest you can be) My worst experiences was me and this one girl getting accused of inappropriate affection. That was not at all true. The secord worst was when I got attacked by a client and the police had to take photos of me for proof of injury.
