MIRANDA IS KIND, KNOWLEDGEABLE, GREAT AS WELL AS HER MEDICAL ASSISTANTS. IT'S THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF I HAVE ISSUES WITH SINCE JANELL LEFT. THEY AREN'T FRIENDLY AT ALL AND I'M PRETTY SURE IT'S BECAUSE MIRANDA ISN'T AROUND TO SEE OR HEAR THEM. IT IS SUCH A HASSLE TO GET THROUGH TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. I HAVE SAT IN THE WAITING ROOM AND SEEN THEM ON THEIR CELL PHONES YET CAN'T MAKE TIME TO ANSWER THE OFFICE PHONE. UNFORTUNATELY, WILL BE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER PROVIDER.
Miranda Young told me I was likely going to die in childbirth (a scheduled c section) from placenta accreta and had me literally planning my own cremation and making end of life plans BEFORE the specialist even took a look. At my specialist appointment they told me there was no evidence of it whatsoever and she never should’ve told me that. I wrote the NM medical board who suggested I write the nursing board as they couldn’t do anything about NPs. I never did, but should’ve. Been going to Miranda for a few years now and she’s been so helpful and knowledgeable.Wouldnt go anywhere else in town!The front desk and rest of the staff is also so friendly and make you feel so comfortable!Wish I could give them 10 stars instead of 5!
I must say that I’m pretty disappointed. Front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating, medical assistants are ok I guess… they didn’t really seem to have cared about me as a patient. As far as Miranda Young, I had been going to her for years. I stopped going to her because my appointments always felt very rushed and I felt uncomfortable asking questions.
