Miramar Fish Grotto is AWESOME! The service, drinks and food at Miramar is top notch! We were there during happy hour (daily 2:30-6:00pm) and enjoyed $3 drinks (margarita on the rocks and bloody mary - both delicious!) and $4 appetizers (fried clam strips and fried calamari - excellent!) We also had clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl and it was sooooo good!
Good seafood My in-laws always take us to this place. The seafood is fresh and the view of the ocean is awesome. The service is great and they are always ready to serve you quickly. The salmon is great.
Crap on the Wharf In Medieveal times, people would actually give this kind of food to their enemies in the hopes that they would eat it and die so they would not have to fight. You are only paying for one thing here and that is the view, and really, even that is overrated. Service was annoying at best. Our waitress just did not seem to want to serve us. The food: shrimp salad that was clearly frozen shrimp, so cold that it actually had pieces of ice on it. Clam chowder completely devoid of clams and was simply a milky fishy ... read more
Very classy! Miramar is a great place to bring the family as its menu is user friendly. The prices are a little higher but the quality is good. I love the house specials and the bar is open for the ones who drink. I was eating in this place from the time I could reach the booth! Def a tradition! More geared to the older crowd though. Can be very romantic for a couple.
Stay Away – The food was across the board bad. The decor was from the 70's and the number of flies in an indoor restaurant was alarming. If you enjoy mildew and moderately priced bad food with your view- this is your place. Management is banking on their view at the expense of the customer.
