I have seen and been treated by Dr. Mira on two separate occasions. I have found her to be an excellent and caring physician. DrMira is very knowledgeable and patient. I have never felt that she was rushing the appointment and she has always answered all questions. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Mira.
I saw herJune 2017 and I see by these reviews she has not changed and remains arrogant & uncaring. I sent her an email 1/20/19 advising her of my current health situation because of her uncaring attitude and not bothering to read my entire file - as I had uterine leiomyosarcoma in Oct 2015 and is why I was being monitored by CTs. She was an hour late for my appt, did not apologize, only glanced at my chart and asked why I was even there. Disintetested, rude and arrogant. In a big hurry and a poor listener. Not a skilled specialist at all. My first bad experience with a Mayo physician.
Took husband to Mayo. ER saw the need to admit him, She did nothing for us. Kept husband in the hospital all day then discharged him at the end of the night with 3 days of steroids. Choose another doctor.
Saw her last year for initial visit and she scheduled tests. After completing tests, she didn't bother to schedule to see me afterwards. She had nurse contact me and read me results I could look up online myself. Saw her again this year after an episode. She had a total lack of empathy again. Would not recommend her to my worst enemy.
