Good pasta Good pasta and good portion size for the price. Very small restaurant so if you go in a big in a big group, maybe limited seating area. Some of their specials are good to try depending on your taste.
A Taste of Italy Hidden in a small shopping plaza just minutes from Santa Clara University is a charming Italian restaurant Mio Vicino. With a large variety of food and reasonable prices, this restaurant has good basic dining good for family, students and friends. There is also a private room in the back that can be rented for parties or small groups. They do serve beer and wine- the wine is basic and not a top shelf.
Great Italian Food! With so many Italian restaurants in the area, it's hard for one to stand out for me. However, I've always liked Mio Vicino. It's a gem hidden in a old strip mall. Once you eat there, you're hooked. Everything taste so fresh and delicious.
Yummy Authentic Italian This is my favorite neighborhood Italian Restaurant. We always go here right after our Val-Pak arrives in the mail with a buy one get one half off coupon. It is worth paying the regular price, but the coupon sure is nice. All of the dishes are awesome here, and it is a great mid-week treat with your honey.

Great outdoor dining. The seating arrangement outside was very cozy and the street noise is not much even though cars were passing by. Awesome service too!
Once again, Mio Vicino did not disappoint. I ordered Cheesy Garlic Bread, The Grilled Chicken Salad (one of my all time favorites) Shellfish Pasta and the topper... Chocolate Mousse! Every bite of my meal was ON POINT! Flavorful and well balanced. And I always love their staff. Sean has been there since I started frequenting in the mid 90's. I even got married there in 2009!
