We visited Dr. Ron because my sons vision was suddenly having issues. Once we got in the office from Receptionist to Dr. Ron it was a pleasant experience. It was really great with my son who is 12 at the time. He noticed something severely wrong with his left eye which led him to make some calls and get an MRI scheduled for son. He was incredible with my 3 year old daughter. She’s often shy and does not want to do anything a doctor asks her to do. He was able to get her to participate and talk to him and get all his testing done. He was just amazing with kids and great with explaining things to me as well. He never made me feel like I was overreacting by bringing her in for what turned out to be nothing. Excellent doctor. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Mintzer is an excellent dr and came recommended from our pediatrician’s office. My daughter’s one eye started crossing in and we were able to get an appt right away (within the week). He never pushed for surgery like some other doctors would’ve. Now 2 years later my daughter is improving thanks to Dr. Mintzer. He has great bedside manner (he speaks in rhymes and keeps the kids entertained). He also explains everything thoroughly. I highly recommend him.
Never have I met a doctor that goes above and beyond the call of duty like Dr. Minzter. Even his office staff is amazing. His secretary Teri is extremely wonderful. Having a difficult eye situation and only meeting me later in life he made sure he did everything he possibly could for me before having surgery. Whenever I have an issue or a question and call his office he either gets right on the phone or calls me back promptly. He will even talk to me when he has patients waiting. My son has been a patient of Dr. Mintzner since he was 10 months old when I took him in with concerns over his eyes. Dr. Mintzner listened to my concerns and was excellent with my son. He clearly explained his issue to me and gave me an honest rundown of the options we had to treat my son's strabismus. My son has been to Dr. Mintzner every 3-4 months for 7 years now.
