The work that was done by the installers was great. With regard to Steve, not so much, we had to chase him for a couple of months regarding installation and a date claiming product delays. At the time of the bedroom and hall install, my wife gave him an additional deposit for the stairs up and downstairs assuring her it is not in his interest to not finish the job. Steve at Minuteman Floors was extremely professional, courteous , prompt to communicate and competitive. His company delivered everything as promised. The oak flooring he sells is of high quality. We chose the pre-finished option to avoid the sanding and the odors. His crew moved thru the process like a well oiled machine and completed the project ahead of schedule. And no mess to clean up….they did it all. Minuteman Floors will definitely get future work. Thank you, Steve…..top shelf service!
WARNING!! We had Minuteman Floors come out on September 9. We gave them a large deposit ($3490) for an estimated install date of November 3. Since that time, we have received no updates - despite numerous attempts to get an updated schedule. Since they were not responding to texts or calls, we sent a certified letter to the business asking for an update or our deposit back by December 1. Hi. I'm a New Hampshire flooring contractor . I did a project for Steve at minuteman floors mid September 2025 and as of today 11/12/2025 have yet to be paid. I have confirmed with the home owner that he received payment the end of September and they loved the work. I have tried several times over the last few weeks to contact Steve , left several messages to no response. Unfortunately I now will be taking legal action and might have to put a lean on the property. Be aware of who you hire and who does the work.
