I was able to use my VA health benefits to see a nurse and fill my prescriptions in one easy visit. It could not have been any better. They actually know how to work with the VA!!
Yesterday, I brought two of my three children to the clinic without appointments. The provider on duty was exceptional — she kindly worked both of my children into her schedule in between appointments, and we were seen in a timely manner. That experience reflected exactly what I expect from a Minute Clinic. However, today’s visit was completely different. Excellent nurse practitioner and very helpful.
Went to the minute clinic with a suspected sinus infection. I got tested for Flu and Covid and when those were negative and erroneous whatever that means I was told to rest and sent on my way. It ended up being a sinus infection that got progressively worse over time. This is a good location for flu and Covid testing but that is probably the extent. $660 was charged to my insurance and my total was $91on top of my $20 copay.
